2024 Age Group Zones Team:
The following swimmers have been selected to represent Pacific Northwest Swimming at the 2024 Western Age Group Zones Championship in Boise Idaho, from August 6-11th. The head coach for this trip will be Coach Troy and the coach/TEAM manager is Coach Darla. Those selected should be receiving an email today to confirm their spots on the TEAM.
A message from Coach Troy (Head Coach):
Congratulations to those selected to the 2024 PN Western Zone Age Group Championship team. Being a part of the PNS Western Zone Age Group Championship team is a fantastic opportunity to race some of the fastest 14 and under swimmers in the country. Being a part of this team provides a safe space for our age group athletes to both gain experience in higher level meets as well as to forge new and deepen current relationships among athletes within our LSC and ZONE. This meet is unique as we bring together some of the best athletes from all over our LSC to come together to compete together as one team, TEAM PNS! This is a great way to celebrate how we reach our greatest potential when we are pushed and encouraged by both our teammates and our biggest competitors. We may all come from different teams but for this one week we are all able to come together as one with a shared goal of teamwork and excellence!

This year’s meet will require parents to be responsible for travel and lodging of their swimmer. The zone team coaches will be at the meet to take care of them each day and there will be team activities, but it will not be a team travel trip this year due to COVID precautions.
